XTRADES
Xtrades is a startup that specializes in bringing together stock traders and stock analysts from around the world to an online social media platform. Xtrades also has a learning platform that is intended to help introduce new stock traders into the market, and help their consumers learn the ropes on how to be a successful trader.
During my time at Xtrades as a designer, I worked on multiple projects, such as email campaigns and promotional web module designs. The two biggest projects I worked on were creating a newsroom and documentations page for their website.

Newsroom
01 / Problem
One of Xtrades' biggest challenges was that new users could only communicate with the company through Discord, creating unnecessary friction for those without an account or who preferred not to use the platform.
02 / Approach
To address this issue, we introduced a newsroom page on their website that serves as an accessible entry point for prospective users. It explains what Xtrades offers while providing trading and stock market resources that educate, engage, and build interest in the product.
03 / Decisions
I began by analyzing competitors' newsroom pages to identify best practices and opportunities for Xtrades. After creating wireframes, I validated them through user research and refined the page hierarchy and layout to improve usability. I also expanded the design system by introducing a mobile typography scale.
Outcome
Documentation
01 / Problem
Another key initiative was redesigning Xtrades' documentation page. The company was relying on GitBook to host its documentation, which incurred ongoing subscription costs and limited its search engine optimization. Building a native documentation experience reduced costs while improving SEO and long-term scalability.
02 / Approach
I was tasked with designing a documentation page for Xtrades that retained all of the content from the previous version while providing a more scalable foundation to support the company's future growth.
03 / Decisions
My process mirrored the newsroom project, beginning with low-fidelity wireframes and research into documentation sites. I designed the experience to reflect Xtrades' branding while preserving the familiar layout and information hierarchy of the existing GitBook documentation. This ensured the transition felt intuitive for both new and existing users.
